The hotel had some great aspects, particularly its beautiful and quiet location near Ruidoso. My weekend at the hotel was a delightful surprise. I chose a Royal Suite that provided ample space for lounging and included a fantastic view of the mountains. While my experience at the buffet was average, I really enjoyed the extensive draft beer selection at the Ale pub. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made my stay enjoyable overall, though the distance from major airports might be a consideration for some.
